Product UX design that maps flows to real workflows, cuts friction, and earns adoption screen by screen.
Flows, states, and interaction patterns designed around the actual jobs your users are trying to finish.
Users don't read interfaces, they push through them. Temper And Forge designs UX that gets out of the way.
Our Product UX Process
01
Workflow and context immersion
We learn the job before designing the tool: how users work today, what surrounds the product, and where the current experience makes them compensate. UX designed without workflow context optimizes screens instead of outcomes.
02
Flow design and state mapping
Every journey gets mapped end to end, including the states teams forget: empty, error, loading, and edge cases. The unhappy paths are where products lose trust, so they get designed with the same care as the demo path.
03
Interaction patterns and standards
We define the interaction vocabulary the product speaks: how selection, editing, feedback, and navigation behave everywhere. Consistency here is what makes a product feel learnable instead of memorized.
04
Usability validation and handoff
Flows get validated with users before handoff, and the documentation covers behavior, not just appearance: what happens on click, on error, on timeout. Engineers build faster when the spec answers questions instead of raising them.
Our team
The minds behind the flows.
UX designers who count clicks, name states, and treat the error path as a first-class experience.

We were rebranding to a new name and needed a website to reflect our updated identity. Temper And Forge built our site using WordPress, matching it to our most recent investor pitch deck so that investors saw the same thing on our site as in our presentations. Communication throughout the project was responsive and transparent — they provided guidance beyond just the immediate deliverables. Our leadership team is very happy with how it came together, and they understand what we want and run with it.
