Technical planning and architecture
We plan the technical approach before writing code: framework selection, component architecture, performance budgets, and the accessibility standard the build will meet. These decisions are cheap to make now and expensive to change later, so they get made deliberately.

Build with performance budgets
We build against defined performance budgets: load time, Core Web Vitals, and runtime efficiency are tracked from the first commit, not audited at the end. Code is structured for the developers who will maintain it after us, because unmaintainable code is technical debt on day one.

Utile Design
Temper And Forge helped us launch our new website — during the discovery phase, they asked questions about our primary goals and helped us shape the vision together. Using our refreshed brand style guide, they developed three different options for how to execute on the website, then built everything out in Figma before moving to development. Following launch, we saw significant increases in organic search traffic and time on page.
