Lutanen Health Website

Website design and content strategy for patient acquisition and growth

Challenge

Lutanen Health had built something genuinely distinct: a Harvard-trained internist running a concierge practice with a strict patient limit, a longevity-forward philosophy, and a level of clinical rigor that most primary care can’t match. The brand was there. The practice was growing. What was missing was a website that could do the work of patient acquisition without diminishing what made the practice worth joining.

Concierge medicine is a category full of noise — practices claiming to be different while looking and sounding exactly the same. For prospective members who arrive via referral, peer recommendation, or press, the site has one job: justify the decision they’ve already nearly made. The previous site wasn’t doing that. It wasn’t communicating the depth of the clinical offering, the distinction of Dr. Luthar’s approach, or the specific philosophy that separates Lutanen Health from every other “personalized medicine” practice in Boston.

"Most importantly, the work has translated into real business results, allowing us to go from a thriving word of mouth based business, to having so many inquiries we had to put up a wait list."

Brand story

The brand identity we’d developed for Lutanen Health gave us a clear foundation to build from. The challenge in translating that identity to a website was carrying the same warmth and deliberateness into a medium where most healthcare brands default to stock photography, corporate copy, and generic trust signals.

The site needed to feel like the practice itself: unhurried, considered, and entirely focused on the person in front of it. That meant every copy decision, every image choice, and every structural choice about what to say and what to hold back had to serve that same philosophy.

User experience

The homepage was built to move through a specific sequence: the philosophy first, then the clinical scope, then the proof. Visitors encounter the practice’s founding conviction — that medicine should be practiced with time, presence, and relationship — before they encounter the list of services. The services list is extensive and genuinely impressive: advanced diagnostics, biomarker analysis, genetic risk screening, epigenetic age tracking, AI-powered cardiovascular imaging, VO₂ max testing, DEXA scans, early cancer detection. But none of that lands without the frame that explains why Lutanen Health is doing those things in the first place.

Navigation was built around the membership model. Prospective members follow a clear path to “Become a Member.” Existing members can find the touchpoints that matter to them — the team, the approach, executive health services, resources — without competing with acquisition content designed for a different audience.

Content strategy

We wrote for someone who wants to understand the clinical reasoning, not just the service menu. The approach page explains the philosophy behind whole-person care with enough specificity that it functions as a differentiator. The diagnostics content names the tests and explains why they matter — the kind of transparency that builds trust with patients who’ve already done their research. The executive health offering has its own clear positioning for a distinct audience with distinct needs.
