Logo design that earns recognition, survives every application, and still works at sixteen pixels.

A mark developed through research and real options, tested across applications before anything is final.

Your logo gets judged in half a second, everywhere, forever. Temper And Forge designs marks built for that job.

Our Logo Design Process

01

Brand context and research

A mark can't be judged without context, so we start there: your positioning, your competitors' visual territory, and the applications the logo has to survive. The brief that comes out of this is what every concept gets measured against.

02

Concept development and range

We develop distinct directions, not variations on one idea, and present each in real contexts: the website header, the invoice, the favicon, the sign. Logos are chosen well when they're seen where they'll live.

03

Refinement and stress testing

The chosen direction gets refined and then abused on purpose: tiny sizes, single color, dark backgrounds, embroidery constraints. Whatever breaks gets fixed before delivery, because the world will run these tests anyway.

04

Delivery and usage foundations

You receive every format and variant the mark needs to live in the wild, with core usage rules that keep it consistent. If full guidelines come later, the logo package is built to slot straight into them.

Temper And Forge has designed and developed two WordPress websites for us and is currently developing a third. They integrated a shopping cart and class registration feature, and they demonstrated exceptional flexibility when we shifted priorities mid-project — adapting without missing a beat and consistently delivering work ahead of schedule. Temper And Forge introduced tools like Figma that became part of our ongoing workflow, and their close-knit leadership kept communication seamless throughout. We've seen an increase in our email sign-ups and website engagement, and the team has produced the best work for us.
