Areas of Expertise
My main area of expertise is in product design and design systems, but lately I've had much more focus on agentic coding and development.
Personal Interests
Lately my free time has been all about rock climbing, but I also spend a lot of time mountain biking and doing photography.
Fun Fact
I seem to infect everyone around me with the need to buy good microphones for their video conferencing setup 😆
Philosophy
I like to focus on first principles. I think if you do a good job on the fundamentals, everything else gets easier down the line.
My Role
My role is to bridge the gap between design and dev. Although most of my professional experience is on the design side, I've always had a keen interest in development. I think this positions me uniquely to straddle a line that can sometimes be difficult for purists of one side or the other.
I'm pretty industry agnostic. As long as there are interesting design / systems problems to be solved, I'm in. I like that Temper & Forge handles the whole stack in house from design to dev. In my experience this leads to the best outcomes — when the teams can collaboratively build culture and conventions to achieve great work.
